Brent Bishop is a filmmaker, musician, and multimedia performance artist whose work merges visionary worlds and universal themes with a message of positivity, imagination, and inspiration.
His most recent film, WITHOUT, co-written/directed with Gregory F Tuzin, has received worldwide distribution and has been seen at multiple festivals including the Honolulu Int Film Festival (winner of the Award for Excellence), San Francisco United Festival, SF IndieFest's 'Another Hole in the Head,' The Big Apple Festival, Festival Internacional de Filmets de Badalona, and the Cannes Short Film Corner.
His multimedia productions, including TANGO LA MELODIA, and The Centennial Celebration of the Elationists merge music, film, dance, and performance, and have met with instant success, receiving great press and selling out multiple runs at home and on tour. His work has received multiple awards from the San Francisco Arts Commission and the Zellerbach Foundation.
Brent has a consistent following and his work has been seen in such venues as San Francisco’s de Young Museum, Cafe Du Nord, LA's Shoenberg Hall, the Whisky A Go Go, the Festival D’Avignon in France, and Payangan, Bali; and an Emmy award-winning episode of The Simpsons.
