Carlos
is a filmmaker interested in the surreal, the
bizarre and the misfits of the world. Exploring
that strange terrain known as cinema, that land
that lies somewhere in between the soggy marsh
of photography, writing, music and time, Carlos
finds himself constantly wrestling cameras, typewriters,
microphones, editing programs and occasionally
actors to capture that ever evasive moment that
lives between these many mediums. He is currently
completing his MFA in film production at SFSU
and has been a resident of the city of San Francisco
since 2003. He is currently working on his thesis
film and DPing short films for other filmmakers
in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since 2004 he has
been an active member of the Million Fishes Art
Collective where he has collaborated on and produced
several video and sound installations.
