I
am a photographer, engineer, designer and builder.
In my spare time I enjoy building 16 foot tall
façades of Monticello in the living room,
constructing copper furniture in the yoga studio
and burning and dodging my photos in the basement.
A San Francisco transplant of five years originally
from Denver, I received my BS in engineering from
Kansas State University and studied 4 years of
ceramics under Yoshi Ikeda.
I
push film shooting, processing, and printing beyond
its capabilities sometimes ruining it in the process.
I enjoy extreme contrast in many of my images
and attempt to create a texture with the grain
itself even on low speed films. |
