A
Bay area resident for 13 years, Zee has studied
and performed with Hiroko and Koichi Tamano of
Harupin Ha Butoh Dance Company.
He is currently pursuing a degree in textile design
with a fine arts focus from the California College
of the Arts.
Zee's visual and performative work investigates
the degradation of the queer body related to the
commodification of desire - the body as product,
wounded post gay consumerist culture, and negative
enforcers related to love. His current body of
work is dissecting masculinity-specifically around
the male on male gaze.
Oh yeah and he also does commercial textile design
focusing on wearables. Which you will soon be
able to catch a glimpse of at the Million Fishes
web site.
